Free test preparation materials for the ACT and SAT exams are available to any Bellingham School District student or parent/guardian because of a non-district program sponsored by eKnowledge Corporation, the National Football League and the U.S. Department of Defense.

Bellingham School District is one of 180 school districts nationwide that qualifies for this free assistance because the district is within 100 miles of a military base.

Students and parents may request the free materials by phone or Web site until July 2009. The program's director has assured the district that no information, such as name or address, that students or parents submit will be stored or used by anyone other than for the purpose of shipping the free materials. Parents or students who are concerned about this, may enter the school's address instead of a home address and have the materials shipped to the school for pick up. If you choose this option, please notify your school office to expect the materials for you and to contact you when they arrive.

Materials need to be requested on an individual basis. The materials are the SAT/ACT PowerPrep DVD or CD ROM program, valued at $200 each.
